Avio N2150

The Matrox Avio N2150 is a high-performance IP KVM extender delivering uncompressed video extension at resolutions up to 5Kp60 4:4:4 over dual 10GbE SFP network links. Designed for control room and broadcast environments where latency and colour accuracy are non-negotiable, the N2150 uses uncompressed transport to eliminate encoding delay entirely, producing a display experience at the remote end that is perceptually identical to a direct cable connection. JPEG XS and Pro AV compression modes are also supported for deployments where available bandwidth must be managed.

The Avio N2150 implements SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX standards alongside AMWA NMOS control protocols, making it compatible with existing IP media infrastructure and allowing integration with software-defined routing, orchestration, and monitoring systems. USB peripheral extension travels alongside video over the same IP link, supporting keyboard, mouse, and USB device access at the remote workstation location. The N2150 is appropriate for demanding applications including broadcast master control, post-production colour grading suites, and high-security operations centres requiring full-fidelity remote desktop access.
