Maevex 7100 Series 4K60 H.264/H.265 Encoder Appliances

The Maevex 7100 Series provides single-channel 4K60 HDMI encoding in a compact fanless appliance designed for enterprise AV distribution, control room contribution, and lecture capture. Both the 7112H and 7112A support 4K60 resolution from a single HDMI input, with the 7112H adding H.265 (HEVC) encoding alongside H.264 for deployments where bandwidth efficiency is a priority. The fanless, silent chassis occupies one-third of a 1U rack width, making it straightforward to deploy on a shelf or install multiple units side-by-side.

Zero-latency HDMI pass-through on the output side allows the source workstation or signal to remain fully usable while the encoded stream is simultaneously distributed across the network. Both models operate on standard 1GbE connections, requiring no specialist network infrastructure. The Maevex 7100 Series integrates with Matrox Maevex Management Console for centralised control of multiple encoder units, and supports unicast and multicast streaming to standard IP media players and recording systems.

4K60 Single-Channel HDMI Encoding

Encodes one HDMI 2.0 input at full 4K resolution and 60 frames per second using H.264 or H.265 compression, suitable for high-fidelity AV contribution and streaming workflows.

Fully Fanless Silent Operation

The fanless thermal design produces no audible noise, making it appropriate for boardrooms, courtrooms, and production environments where fan noise would be intrusive.

Compact 1/3-Rack Form Factor

One-third of a 1U rack slot width allows multiple units to be co-located on a single shelf or installed inside racks without consuming full rack units per encoder.

Zero-Latency HDMI Pass-Through

A dedicated HDMI output delivers the unprocessed source signal to a local monitor with no encoding delay, allowing continued use of the source while the network stream is active.
