Matrox ConductIP is an NMOS-based IP media routing solution that discovers, monitors, and routes SMPTE ST 2110 and IPMX video sources and destinations through a web browser interface. Available in both a dedicated hardware appliance and a software-only tier, ConductIP implements AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 for device discovery and connection management across IP media networks. The hardware appliance supports uncompressed ST 2110 video at 10 and 25GbE, as well as compressed IP video at 1, 2.5, 10, and 25GbE.

The software-only deployment tier allows organisations to run ConductIP on their own server infrastructure, eliminating the need for a dedicated hardware appliance where compute resources are already available. Both tiers provide the same web-based routing panel for making and breaking connections between NMOS-registered sources and destinations. ConductIP operates within the open NMOS ecosystem, making it compatible with devices from multiple manufacturers that implement AMWA NMOS standards alongside the Matrox IP media product range.

NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 Control

Implements AMWA NMOS IS-04 for device discovery and IS-05 for connection management, integrating with any compatible NMOS device across a multi-vendor IP media network.

Web Browser Routing Interface

The routing panel operates entirely in a web browser with no client software installation, allowing operators and engineers to manage connections from any networked workstation.

Hardware or Software Deployment

Available as a dedicated hardware appliance with 10/25GbE support or as a software-only tier for deployment on customer-provided server infrastructure.

ST 2110 and IPMX Support

Routes both SMPTE ST 2110 uncompressed IP video and IPMX compressed streams, covering the primary open standards for professional IP media in broadcast and AV environments.
