Maevex 6100 Series Dual and Quad 4K60 AV-over-IP Appliances

The Maevex 6100 Series delivers multi-channel 4K60 encode and decode in a 1U half-rack fanless form factor, designed for control room signal distribution, digital signage, and enterprise AV-over-IP workflows. The 6122 encoder processes two simultaneous 4K60 HDMI inputs with full 4:4:4 colour sampling and H.264 compression, while the 6152 encoder scales to four HDMI inputs in the same chassis width. Both encoders provide individual HDMI pass-through outputs so local monitors remain active without interrupting the IP stream.

The Maevex 6152 Decoder accepts up to four 4K streams or sixteen 1080p30 streams simultaneously, directing decoded output to connected displays with full 4:4:4 colour fidelity. USB recording capability on encoder models allows captured content to be written directly to attached storage alongside IP distribution. The Maevex 6100 Series is managed through Matrox Maevex Management Console, supporting centralised configuration and monitoring of multiple appliances in a unified interface.

Up to Four 4K60 Channels

The 6152 encoder captures four simultaneous HDMI 2.0 inputs at 4K60, and the 6152 decoder handles four 4K streams or sixteen simultaneous 1080p30 decode outputs.

4:4:4 Full-Colour H.264

Full 4:4:4 chroma sampling preserves colour accuracy throughout the encode/decode chain, meeting the requirements of colour-critical control room and production monitoring applications.

USB Recording on Encoders

Encoder models write locally recorded content directly to USB-connected storage while simultaneously streaming over IP, removing the need for separate capture hardware.

Fanless Half-Rack Chassis

All three appliances operate without a fan in a compact half-rack 1U form factor, allowing quiet installation in rack environments alongside other professional AV equipment.
