The Matrox X.mio5 ST 2110 NIC Series provides full-height PCIe network interface cards with SMPTE ST 2110 hardware offload, available in quad 25GbE (Q25) and dual 25GbE (D25) configurations. Like the DSX LE5, all ST 2110 processing is offloaded to hardware on the card, freeing the host CPU for broadcast application logic. Hardware PTP integration provides accurate clock synchronisation for multi-channel frame-aligned IP video workflows at 4K UHD and HD resolutions.

The X.mio5 ST 2110 NIC Series integrates with the Matrox DSX SDK, giving broadcast OEM developers a software interface to ST 2110 I/O control, PTP management, and multi-channel video flow management. The Q25 variant provides four 25GbE SFP connections for high-density deployments, while the D25 offers a two-port configuration for lower-capacity installations. Both variants are designed for broadcast OEM manufacturers building IP production systems on standard x86 server hardware.

Quad and Dual 25GbE Configurations

Choose the Q25 with four 25GbE SFP ports for high-density multi-channel IP production, or the D25 with two ports for deployments with lower channel capacity requirements.

Hardware ST 2110 Offload

All SMPTE ST 2110 encoding, decoding, and packetisation is handled on-card in hardware, preserving host CPU resources for broadcast application code running at the software layer.

Hardware PTP Synchronization

On-board PTP hardware maintains precise clock alignment with the IP media network, ensuring frame-accurate timing for multi-channel synchronised broadcast IP video flows.

DSX SDK Integration

Supports the Matrox DSX SDK development interface, enabling OEM application developers to access ST 2110 I/O functions programmatically across the X.mio5 hardware platform.
