The Matrox M9140 LP PCIe x16 provides four independent monitor outputs from a single low-profile graphics card, driving each display at up to 1920x1200 resolution. Five hundred and twelve megabytes of onboard memory supports the aggregate pixel count of four simultaneous displays, and the fanless passive cooling design operates silently for continuous workstation and control room use. A dual-card configuration connects two M9140 LP cards to scale output to eight independent displays from a single host system.

The M9140 LP is designed for operator workstations that require a broad display footprint for simultaneous application visibility — typical use cases include security monitoring consoles, traffic management centres, financial trading desks, and broadcast control rooms where four to eight displays must be driven from a single host. The board-to-board framelock cable (sold separately) synchronises both cards in a dual-card configuration for frame-aligned output.
