The Matrox X.mio5 12G SDI is a full-height PCIe card providing 12 reconfigurable 12G/3G-SDI input and output channels for broadcast OEM system builders. All 12 SDI channels can be independently configured as inputs, outputs, or a mix, providing flexibility for multi-format broadcast production systems requiring simultaneous SDI I/O. The card supports 8K resolution handling and real-time 4K video compositing, scaling, and de-interlacing in hardware for broadcast processing workflows.

Available in XMIO5-12G-X2 (12-channel) and XMIO5-12G-8 (8-channel) configurations, the card integrates with the Matrox DSX SDK for OEM software development, providing access to SDI I/O control, on-board processing functions, and ancillary data management through a documented developer interface. The X.mio5 12G is targeted at broadcast OEM manufacturers building SDI production systems including vision mixers, multiviewers, signal processors, and monitoring equipment.
