QuadHead2Go Q185 Series

The Matrox QuadHead2Go Q185 Series builds on the Q155 platform by adding a dedicated LAN management port to both the appliance and PCIe card variants. This Ethernet connection allows IT administrators to configure, monitor, and update multiple Q185 units remotely from a central location, without requiring physical access to each device. Video input resolution of up to 4K at 60 fps or 8Kx8K is distributed across four Full HD displays simultaneously, with independent zone assignment and bezel correction available through the web management interface.

The LAN port is independent from the video signal path, meaning network management traffic does not consume any display bandwidth and administrators can access the management interface while the video wall is fully operational. Configuration changes — such as output resolution, display arrangement, and input source selection — take effect without interrupting live content. The Q185 is suited to permanent installations in corporate lobbies, transportation hubs, and control rooms where remote management is essential for ongoing operation.
